Q&A: Why do some people say “suntan lotion” and others “sunscreen” when they intend the same meaning?
I’ve been saying suntan lotion my whole life and just recently thought about how it actually should mean the opposite.
I never really thought anything of it, but I saw an article where the woman listed reasons for breaking-up with men, and one was because said suntan lotion instead of sunscreen.
So my actual question is: is it really a big deal that people say suntan lotion instead of sunscreen?
