Q&A: Approximately how many surf and skate shops are there in Southern California?
I am doing some research for a business plan and needed to know the number of skate and surf shops that are located in Southern California.

honestly, there are lots and lots, i doubt anyone could give a single answer….go down to a beach, and there is atleast 5 along the boardwalk if not more

there are probably over 500 if you add up all the surf shops and all the skate shops. for and accurate count you would have to go to the yellow pages for each city and look them up.

to give you a idea pick up a transworld skate magazine and they have a spot that tells you were their is skate shops and the one that cares thier mag..
