Question: Need recommendations for 2-3 day surf trip in Jan/Feb?
I have a long weekend to get away in Jan or Feb and looking for suggestions for a long weekend trip to warm water with consistent waves, nice accommodations, and easy travel from Midwest. I’ll be going with my wife, so hoping to find place with other activities too.

Hawaii fits the bill for you. All kinds of waves – most certainly consistent big/small etc.
Honolulu is a major US city – so accomo’s are as good as you can afford.

I’d say Hawaii, but would it be worth the trip for a 2 day vacation?
Cayucos is my favorite at the moment and it’s tourist friendly

south west wales..pembrokeshire/gower!

theres loads of stuff to do in pembrokeshire…
horse riding, coasteering, walking, pubs (lots!), awesome breaks – reef, beach etc, abseiling..blah blah blah
check out sealyham activity centre and TYF activity centre..google em!
alternativley, go to Oz 
EDIT: oh shit, didn’t see the warm water bit..dont go to south west wales or anywhere in the UK for that matter..full suit, booties, gloves and hood all the way here!
