Q&A: Has anyone seen a surfer girl carry a Vera Bradley bag?
I am learning how to surf and I really like the relaxed lifestyle of it, but would carrying a Vera Bradley bag too much?

I ma sure at 14 you have lots of things on your mind, friends, fashion, school, boys, and now surfing. So, you probably don’t want a long answer from an old guy who has grand children just about your age.
Surfers can carry or wear anything they want! I am a 58 year old guy with two very straight-laced jobs, and I dress like all the other old guys my age. But I am a surfer, and I have been since I was your age. Surfing is about your relationship with the ocean, and surfing. It is NOT about how you dress or talk.
Be sure to take lessons, and be sure to respect the ocean and the other people in the water (even the kooks). Remember, surfing is about what you do in the water, not what you wear. And, the main purpose of surfing is FUN. So go on out and enjoy yourself.
