Surfboard Bags Review – Day and Travel Bags

Today we are going to look at the different range of boardbags we currently stock so you can get an idea what will best suit you as there are various Surfboard bags for different occassions.

Depending on what you are going to be doing, there are a variety of bags to choose from. We currently stock:

Pretty much all the bases are covered here for most surfers. When heading down to the beach on a regular basis, we recommend the 5mm Surf Boardbags. Chances are as you are probably on a short journey without much kit, you need a basic cheap bag. We stock a variety of brands including Rhino Boardbags, Ocean & Earth Boardbags and Creatures Of Leisure Boardbags. All the bags above will do the job and each have storage space for wax and any other accessories you want to throw in.

If your travelling a bit further and have a lot of kit or off abroad (lucky) then the 10mm Travel Boardbags are what you want. There’s less chance that your quiver will get smashed up as the padding is double that from the day bags. The bags themselves are much more hard wearing and can pretty much be flung around!…carefully.

Our 10mm Multi Travel Bags is what you want if you have a few boards you need to transport. Inside the bags are section covers to keep the board seperated and stopping them rubbing on each other. Again, the bags are 10mm thick and should do the job for serious journeys, with compartments so that you can whack fins, wax and whatever else you need to take.

If you want the reassurance of 10mm Surf Boardbags padding but what to keep the bags trimmed down to a minimum then the 10mm Multi Slim Fit Travel Boardbags are for you. They work pretty much the same as the normal 10mm travel bags, just that all the material and space is keep to a minimum for those wanting to travel light. Velcro sections up and down the Surf boardbags so you can decide on how compact you want them to be.
