Hi,I did the following:
Question: What is the sunscreen that is white when caked on?
Hi,
Most sunscreens today rub into the skin all the way (which is fine) But I am looking for the sunscreen that is white when applied to the nose or under the eyes. Surfers and volleyball players where it most often. I think it has zinc in it. What is it called? Where do I get it?
Thanks a lot.

The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!

It is called Zinc Oxide and you can get it at almost any drug store. I had to use it when a was a kid because I had such fair skin.

I’ve seen it marketed as Lifeguards sunscreen. I haven’t seen it too many places. You may find it at Walgreens or, even easier, on the internet.

It’s zinc oxide. If you can’t find zinc oxide in a bottle labeled “sunscreen” buy a tube of Desitin diaper rash cream for babies. It’s the exact same stuff. The one and only ingredient in Desitin is none other than zinc oxide. The only thing different is the packaging.
I’m a surfer but I don’t see surfers using it as much as they used to. Lifeguards still wear it a lot.
