How long will it take for me to learn to swim good enough to surf. I can’t swim at all (blame my parents) so I will be taking swimming lessons. The main reason is to then learn to surf

Question: What is the best place to learn to surf at Cocoa Beach?
Okay, so my family and I going to Florida and Cocoa Beach. My cousin and myself want to learn how to surf while we are there. I searched online and all the prices are similar or the same. I was looking at Ron Jon’s Surf School, Bilt Surf and Skate, Cocoa Beach Surf Comany, and others where new begginers can learn to surf. So my question is what place is the best or where did you have a good experience?

so i went to marshalls the other day and got really excited that they had wetsuits for $ 50!! but when i got home i realized that i had bought a a scuba wetsuit…but i dont scuba dive, i surf…so i was wondering what the major difference was?

Q&A: Where and what to surf in New Zealand?
I plan on going down to NZ for a couple months starting in February, it’s primarily a surf trip. I will most likely be on the north island but I am still in the planning stages. I have been doing some research but it’s always nice to hear from people who have been there so please tell me some spots to check out/camp out at and what kind of board I should take (I surf long and short and all the fun boards in between). Thanks!
