Q&A: Hawaii surfing trip but what island?
I’m traveling to Hawaii when I turn 18 this summer, but I can’t decide what island to go to. I want good surf and beaches with stuff to do and see like Oahu, but I also love nature so Kuaui
would be awesome too. I plan on just working on a farm or something for food or shelter

Q&A: Is it possible to road trip to Costa Rica?
I live in San Antonio Texas and its not uncommon for people to venture down to Meixco for the weekend. But I enjoy surfing and mainland mexico and the Texas gulf coast has really bad surf. Would you be able to drive through countries easily with a passport or through customs? I mean You only have to go through Mexico, Gautemala, Honduras, and Nicarauga until you get to Costa Rica.

Hi,I did the following:
Question: biarritz surf trip?
Trying to determine the best places to surf within 100 miles north or south of Biarritz. e.g. where to stay comfortably? is it cheaper to bring a surfboard or rent one there? what is the rental board selection like? are the locals friendly? is it better to rent a car or take trains? I’ve extensively checked online sources and have a few travel books — hoping to get a response from someone who has done this. thx!

Q&A: I want to take a senior trip to Costa Rica for a month?
Two of my friends and I want to take our senior trip to Costa Rica. Both of them have been on trips there before, but only for a week and with their families. We all surf and are looking forward to the new culture. I would be flying out of Norfolk International. We want to live on a relativly small budget(no expensive hotels or meals). I heard somewhere that in places you are allowed to pitch tents on the beach for free. Is this true? I love to eat and would eat 2-3 meals a day with some snacks thrown in. What should we plan on spending without airfare? Any help is much appreciated

Q&A: out of country surf trip, need board advice?
i am riding a 5’4 dominator right now and am an intermediate to advanced surfer. this board floats me fine and i am going to El Salvador this summer. i had a 5’8 but the ding repair guy screwed it up and now it is literally double the weight. Any recommendations on a fire wire surfboard that i could ride. i need a board that can handle eight foot waves plus. i think my dominator can handle anything under these conditions but i need a big wave board. i am 5’8 about 145 any advice would be greatly appreciated
